Dr Suman Chowdhury has more than nine years of experience in the field of drug discovery and pharmaceutical sciences. Her research work has focused on phytotherapy and natural compounds for the treatment of Alzheimer disease and Parkinson disease. Dr Suman Chowdhury completed her graduation from the University of Delhi in 2010 and her post-graduation from Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, in 2012. She then completed her PhD in Biotechnology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi in 2020. Currently, Dr Chowdhury is pursuing academic Postdoctoral research at Rutgers University, New Jersey, US, where her training includes experience in project management, science communication, mentorship, and consulting. She has published 15 research articles and 3 conference papers and received various national grants for her work including Senior Research Fellowship from Indian Council of Medical Research, Govt. of India and International Travel Support Scheme from Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. She has also served as Peer Reviewer for many Journals from reputed publishing houses such as Springer Nature, Elsevier, MDPI, Taylor & Francis, Med known Publications.
